Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Front Office Department.
  • Lead and support Front Office team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with arrivals, departures, room allocations, and VIP guest requirements.
  • Monitor cash handling, key control, and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Support the preparation of rosters and workforce planning requirements.
  • Conduct team briefings and communicate important operational updates.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Front Office, Guest Services, or Hotel Reception leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel front office operations and guest service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Sound computer literacy and experience using hotel property management systems.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Full Australian working rights.
