About the Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of the property and the first point of contact for our guests. You will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Front Office.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional, and memorable arrival experience
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
• Respond to guest enquiries and resolve concerns in a professional manner
• Provide information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
• Handle reservations, telephone enquiries, and guest requests
• Maintain accurate guest records and update information within property management systems
• Process payments and reconcile transactions accurately
• Ensure the Front Office area is presented to a high standard at all times
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• Previous experience in a hotel, serviced apartment, tourism, or customer service environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional presentation and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
• Experience using hotel or property management systems is highly regarded
