Job Description

About the Role:

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced General Manager – Marketing & PR to lead the organisation’s brand, marketing, digital and public relations strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this senior leadership role will be responsible for strengthening brand visibility, driving direct revenue growth, enhancing digital presence, and managing corporate communications across domestic and international markets.

The role will also lead a hybrid global marketing structure, coordinating offshore marketing teams across India (digital marketing) and Manila (creative and marketing production) to deliver scalable and high-performing marketing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Development

  • Develop and implement the group’s marketing strategy aligned with commercial and revenue objectives.
  • Lead brand positioning and brand architecture across the CLLIX portfolio.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards across all properties and marketing channels.
  • Develop marketing initiatives supporting new property openings, acquisitions and portfolio expansion.

Digital Marketing & Direct Channel Growth

  • Lead digital marketing strategy including website optimisation, SEO/SEM, Google Hotel Ads, metasearch platforms and content marketing.
  • Drive growth in direct website bookings and improve conversion performance.
  • Develop CRM, loyalty and email marketing strategies to strengthen guest engagement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and marketing analytics to optimise ROI.

Public Relations & Corporate Communications

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Manage media relationships, press coverage and brand storytelling.
  • Oversee company announcements, press releases and corporate communications.
  • Support industry events, conferences and strategic brand exposure opportunities.

Marketing Operations & Global Team Leadership

  • Lead the global marketing operating model coordinating offshore teams in India and Manila.
  • Establish scalable marketing processes and operational frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Management and Distribution teams to support commercial outcomes.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop marketing partnerships with airlines, tourism boards, corporate partners and travel platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for co-marketing campaigns and brand collaborations.

Marketing Analytics & Performance

  • Establish marketing dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor channel performance and optimise marketing investment based on data insights.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

We are looking for a strategic and commercially focused marketing leader with strong hospitality or travel industry experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality or travel marketing
  • Proven track record in brand development and digital marketing
  • Experience managing marketing for multi-property or hotel group portfolios
  • Experience managing offshore marketing teams or external agencies
  • Strong background in performance marketing and direct channel growth
