Job Description
The Opportunity
We are expanding our team and looking for a new Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive revenue growth and market share across the CLLIX portfolio through the acquisition of new corporate business, partnerships with travel management companies and maintain strong client relationships.
About the Role
Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across corporate and travel management companies.
Drive proactive sales calls, presentations, site inspections and client meetings to promote national accommodation offerings
Research and analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Complete corporate RFP’s and account tender documents and optimize opportunities to deliver room revenue targets
Collaborate with sales support team to prepare rate proposals and load rates
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts ensuring long term relationships and repeat business.
Reporting and completion of activities logged in CRM – Hubspot
Support new hotel openings and pre-opening sales activities
Any other reasonable tasks allocated by the General Manager - Sales or Chief Commercial Officer.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience in business development or sales within the accommodation, hospitality, or tourism industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels
Results driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to travel domestically
Experience in HubSpot or CRM is preferred.
Confidence to put forward your ideas and contribute to a dynamic team that makes decisions and acts on them quickly.
